Mission and Philosophy

EAQC's coaches counsel individuals toward personal, social, academic, and professional development. We partner with clients toward realizing their objectives by identifying and exploring their options, collaborating to arrive at workable solutions, and supporting their efforts.

Programs

Each EAQC coaching program is customized to match the particular client's specific requirements. The following are some examples:

  • Goal setting
  • Making major life decisions
  • Career Planning
  • Educational and professional development
  • Leadership skills
  • Effective interpersonal communications
  • Presentation skills
  • Listening skills
  • Networking
  • Better productivity by reducing psychological noise
  • Enhancing focus and flow
  • Time management

  • Expertise

EAQC's founder has been coaching, training, and teaching for more than twenty years, and as a Management and Development Specialist, has advised domestic and international organizations in the areas of organizational effectiveness and efficiency, strategic planning and development, metrics and productivity measures, process re-engineering and change management, crisis management, product and brand development, market expansion, tactical and competitive analysis, stakeholder communication, group dynamics, cultural sensitivity, ethics and social responsibility, staff development, employee assessment, and human resources management.

EAQC's other coaches and trainers also hail from a variety of academic and professional backgrounds and draw from latest research and proven practices.

In each case, the coach is a subject matter expert in the area of primary focus. For example, when the client's objective is to gain facility in addressing large audiences or prepare for a media interview, the coach will be a specialist in organizational communication or media relations. Similarly, when the goal is career advancement in a certain industry, for example, healthcare or banking, the coach will be well versed with the intricacies of medical arts or financial services.

In addition, EAQC can call upon and/or refer clients to its large network of psychologists, physicians, attorneys, occupational and physical therapists, and practitioners in accounting, finance, health and fitness, and sports medicine.

    Client Confidentiality

EAQC adamantly maintains its clients' identities confidential and does not disclose details of its interactions with them.

We thrive on referrals at the discretion of our clients but differ from many of our counterparts in that the challenge of the task and our genuine commitment to excellence supersedes financially-motivated self-promotion.

We strongly believe that our clients deserve credit for the enhancements to their personal and professional lives that EAQC helps them initiate.

    The Process

The coaching process begins with a meeting between the client and an EAQC representative at a time and place that is most convenient for the client. That initial meeting can transpire either via telephone or in person.

Once EAQC and the client define a goal; EAQC proceeds to plan a comprehensive program and establish a schedule and a set of measurable outcomes toward achieving that goal. Almost always the program includes incremental milestones.

The type of support that EAQC provides and its duration depend on the client's goal and its complexity. Generally each client collaborates and regularly interacts with a particular coach; however when required, a team of several specialists can be assembled.

    Method

Following initial definition and thorough assessment of the client's requirements, all support services and functions are coordinated and the appropriate expert or team is assigned.

A singular objective, for example, gaining confidence to manage broader responsibilities at work, may require input by only one coach. More comprehensive and multifaceted objectives, for example, operations optimization and expansion, may require one or more teams of experts such as the Project Management Team and Effectiveness Analysts.

    Location

Coaching can take place on telephone, via e-mail or web conferencing, or in person at our facility, at the client's office, or at another convenient location.

Telephone and online communications may be scheduled for any mutually agreed upon time on weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Except on major holidays, face-to-face meetings can take place between 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays and between 1 to 6 p.m. on weekends pending the coach's availability.

Several conference rooms are available at our facility. In addition, clients may suggest other locations to their coaches. (For example, a workplace conference room or cafeteria, a restaurant, a coffee shop, an empty classroom, a favorite park bench, or a reserved room at a library.)

For optimal results, there should be little or no distraction during a coaching session. The client must be relaxed and refrain from bringing guests or consuming alcohol or drugs immediately before or during the meeting.

    Hours

Telephone and online communications may be scheduled for any mutually agreed upon time on weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

Except on major holidays, interactions in person are scheduled between 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays and between 1 to 6 p.m. on weekends pending the coach's availability.

    Fees and Billing

EAQC's coaching fees are competitive and we offer discounts to small businesses, students, veterans, and seniors. Payments may be made via check or credit card and payment plans are available.

We have established amicable relationships with a number of our major suppliers that enable us to pass the savings on to clients while adhering to our standards of excellence.

EAQC's flat-rate hourly and monthly fee structures depends on the objective - specifically, its complexity and the anticipated duration, whether sessions are conducted in person, via telephone, or online, and whether they are one-to-one or group sessions.

Initial consultation is free and presents the opportunity to discuss the objective, options, and applicable fees.

Fees toward enhancing business and professional skills may be tax-deductible. So please consult with your tax advisor or accountant.
